Thunder Mountain Longhorn chilli is one the most beautiful of the Chillies because of its incredible length which can reach and exceed 25cm. They are from Leigongshan Mountains in China.
These beautiful pepper are a sight to see in any garden.

Thunder longhorn Care:

  • Optimum germination temperature: 24-26 °C
  • Sunlight Requirement: Pepper loves the full sunlight.
  • Sowing: Choose a sunlight spot in your garden. Sow seeds on the top of the soil and cover them with a fine layer of soil.
  • Germination time: It may take up to 7-10 days to germinate.
  • Soil: Requires well-drained fertile soil.  Add a good amount of well-rotted compost to the soil.
  • Fertilizer: Use organic fertilizer like vermicompost. Do not give too much nitrogen.
  • Watering: Water well during dry and hot spells.
  • Good intercropping partners:, Swiss Lettuce, Spinach, and rosemary.
  • Sunlight Requirement: It needs full sunlight for a good harvest.
