Product Description:

The Hungarian Wax is a pale yellow, medium-hot pepper that averages  15 cm in length and turns red when mature. The compact plants grow up to 2 feet tall and are very productive in short-season climates.

They are four times hotter than jalapenos. You can put these peppers to culinary use like fried recipes, stuffing, roasting, soups, processing, and pickling!

Hungarian Wax Pepper Care:

  • Sunlight Requirement: Pepper required full sunlight.
  • Sowing: Sow them 1/4″ deep and keep the soil at 80-85 degrees F until germination, seeds require lots of warmth to germinate.
  • Soil: Keep the soil evenly moist and weeds under control; mulching the plants may help with this. These peppers grow well in short-season climates.
  • Fertilizer: Use Organic fertilizers and the soil should be rich in phosphorus, potassium, and calcium.
  • Watering: Peppers need a steady supply of water for best performance.
  • Good intercropping partners: Petunias, zinnias, Onions, Dill, Parsley, Spinach, rosemary, cornflower and Marigolds.
