If you’re ready to plant and grow your own golden zucchinis, here are some tips to get you started:

• Plant in the spring after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed up to at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit
• Plant seeds about 1 inch deep and 3 to 4 feet apart in well-drained soil and full sun
• Water regularly and fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season
• Harvest fruit when it is about 6 to 8 inches long and still tender to avoid toughness and woodiness
